In Memoriam Soeharto

Inalillahi wa'inailahi rojiun..
Telah berpulang pada Rahmatullah, mantan presiden Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia, H. Muhammad Soeharto..

After 24 days of treatments in RSPP Jakarta, on 27th January 2008, the man of leadership, father of Indonesia development, Soeharto, passed away. After being reported became healthy days ago, and stopped using ventilator, he underwent a critical situation on Sunday morning. At 11.00 PM, the headline news in Metro TV said that Soeharto was in a critical situation then. Never ever passed in my mind that it was the last news i heard bout him when he was alive.
Soeharto closed his life in the age of 86 at 1.30 PM (GMT +7) this morning (27th January 2008). He died because of multiorgans failure.

His eldest daughter, Siti Hardiyanti Rukmana, known as Mbak Tutut, was giving a press conference in tears. She said "Astafirullagh aladin" three times first. Dr. Mardjo Soebiandono, the head of presidential doctors, announced this saddening news before her.

ONE DECADE OF ILLNESS

Since he resigned, this 2nd president of RI had a rollercoaster health history, until his death in 2008.

He was brought to RSPP early this year because of too much liquid filled his body. Until this time 2PM, it's reported in RCTI that former President Soeharto was flied to Solo, Central Java, to the family cemetery in Astana Giri Bangun.

From Istana Kepresidenan, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono ask Indonesia to give respect to Soeharto who had given contributions to the country.
